Wavey times at gala

Fish Eagles swimmers chased seeding times at the Short Course Gala at Arboretum Town Pool

THIRTY swimmers came out in the rain to chase seeding times at the Fish Eagles Short Course Gala held on Saturday at the Arboretum Town Pool.

Swimmers and coaches used this gala to test the waters before the NKZN Short Course Championships in Vryheid on 1-2 November.

‘This gala helps the swimmers with seeding for the upcoming gala. It was great to see the swimmers in good form so early in the season, which is promising as they should peak mid-season,’ said Chairperson of Fish Eagles Swimming Club Erika du Plessis.

Sune Terblanche eased through the pool during the girls 10-11 years 100m backstroke race
