Medals after tumbling performances

THE Richards Bay Gymnastics Club threw their weight around and tumbled their way to success, after scooping eight medals in artistic gymnastics at the Zone Challenge in Brits – the end of August.

The girls competed in the vault, bar, beam and floor events, whilst the boys tried their hand in the vault, bar, parallel bar and floor events.

These eight talented gymnasts scooped three gold and five silver medals in their various sections.

‘Congratulations to all the gymnasts, we are so proud of you all. Gymanstics is a very disciplined sport and requires dedication and hard work,’ said boys coach Zonita Grobbelaar.
