ON Saturday my son was admitted to Netcare The Bay Hospital’s emergency room before undergoing emergency surgery and was taken care of by the staff in the paediatric ward.
Everyone, from the admissions lady at emergency to Dr Kelling and his helpful theatre staff, as well as the day and night nurses on shift, deserve accolades for their service and attitudes.
They were kind, helpful, compassionate, communicative, and all smiles at all times.
In a time when people are quick to complain and criticize, I would like them to know that their dedication is appreciated and noted by parents who are worried, anxious and dealing with children in pain.
