N2 crash near Fairbreeze claims one life

The N2 near Fairbreeze claimed yet another life in a single-vehicle accident which occurred this past Sunday.

The vehicle reportedly lost control while travelling south on the N2.

The scene was attended by IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS Search & Rescue alongside EMRS.

Upon arrival, one of the passengers had sadly sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene.

“A further five occupants sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

“Patients were stabilised by IPSS Medical Rescue and EMRS and were transported to various facilities for further care.

“Our condolences go out to the friends and family of the deceased,” IPSS said.

The fatal crash comes just two weeks after a collision claimed three lives on the same stretch of the N2.
