The driver and passenger crew of a truck that overturned on the N2 just north of Mtubatuba on Friday morning sustained critical injuries and were rushed to Hlabisa Hospital.

The truck overturned at around 9.30am in the vicinity of Nkodibe. It is reported that it had been travelling from Pietermaritzburg and was headed to Pongola.

By Friday midday, the road had been cleared and traffic was flowing normally.
