The N2 north- and southbound lanes between KwaDukuza and Darnall will be closed today (Wednesday) in the vicinity of Nonoti from midday to 1pm.
“KwaDukuza Municipality will do an urgent replacement of 14m pole and stringing of electrical pine conductors on the 11kv network,” said the municipality upon announcement of the impending road closure.

Motorists travelling on the N2 are urged to use alternative routes during the temporary closure.
Those travelling on the N2 northbound can take the exit at KwaDukuza off-ramp onto the R102 northbound, and then re-join the highway at the Darnall/Zinkwazi on-ramp.
Motorists travelling on the N2 southbound can take the exit at Zinkwazi off-ramp onto the R102 southbound, and then re-join the highway at the KwaDukuza flyover bridge.
