The tuberculosis (TB) epidemic continues to impact South Africa, but there is hope in the form of the M72 TB vaccination.
In the last seven years, South Africa has recorded a 50% reduction in TB incidence, yet it still has the highest rates globally, with 54 000 people dying from the disease annually.
