Their last live performance five years ago, excitement is in the air ahead of Thuthukani Special School’s spectacular variety show, A night with champions.

On stage at uMfolozi Casino on Thursday, 17 October from 6pm, the show will not disappoint.

The learners with severe to profound intellectual disabilities have since the start of the school year been perfecting their choreography and songs.

What’s more, everyone is in for a choral treat as the Thuthukani choir placed second at the national SASCE (South African Schools Choral Eisteddfod) competition, with some of the deaf learners also participating.
