Motorists travelling to Uthukela, Harry Gwala or uMgungundlovu districts are warned of a disruptive snowstorm in these parts of the KZN province this weekend.
A level 6 warning has been issued for tomorrow (Friday) until Saturday.
These weather conditions could lead to temporary road closures due to ice accumulation, causing traffic disruptions on major routes.

KZN MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi has urged residents to take necessary precautions, including delaying unnecessary trips, as the risk of entrapment due to icy roads is high.
“Plans are also in place to clear roads in collaboration with local municipalities and the Department of Transport.
“This co-ordinated effort aims to ensure major routes are accessible and that any disruptions are promptly addressed,” said Rev Buthelezi.
