WATCH: Empangeni town pool reopens for swimming season

Empangeni residents no longer need to trek to Richards Bay for a swim.

This after the Empangeni town pool officially opens today (Sunday ) after a more than four-year closure, with subsequent delays in reopening.

The pool’s daily operating hours are from 9.30am to 5pm.

Ward 23 Councillor Andre de Lange expressed gratitude to the municipality for reopening the pool. “We need it and we waited long for it. Thank you very much,” said de Lange.
