Five stolen vehicles recovered during police operation in King Cetshwayo District

Three of the recovered vehicles had been abandoned

Police operations around King Cetshwayo District proved fruitful recently as five stolen vehicles were recovered and two suspects arrested for possession of stolen goods.

A Toyota Conquest and two H100 Hyundai vehicles that were reported stolen at KwaMbonambi SAPS were among the cars recovered.

“The other two H100 Hyundai [vehicles] were recovered, one which was reported stolen at Esikhawini SAPS and the other reported stolen at Empangeni SAPS,” said King Cetshwayo Cluster spokesperson Captain Siyanda Shangase, adding that police themselves cannot win the fight against crime.

“Stakeholder involvement in the fight against crime is valuable”.

Three of the recovered vehicles were found abandoned.
