Child dies in eNseleni three-vehicle pile-up

A primary school pupil tragically lost their life following a three-vehicle pile-up in eNseleni this (Tuesday) morning.

According to Mounties EMS, who attended the scene, three vehicles were involved in the accident on the R619 eNseleni bend towards Richards Bay.

This included one light motor vehicle, a bakkie transporting schoolchildren, and a broken-down truck.

Two other children were seriously injured but not critical, while three others escaped unharmed.

While the scene has since been cleared, motorists are urged to be extremely cautious amid a reported diesel spillage from the broken-down truck that remains on the road.
