Six Durban men found with 11 stolen goats crammed in their car two weeks ago will remain in police custody until their next court appearance on Tuesday.
The gang was denied bail when they appeared at Mtunzini Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, charged with livestock theft and for being in possession of suspected stolen livestock.
Furthermore, an additional charge of livestock theft was added after being linked to an incident in eShowe.
The long arm of the law caught up with the suspects two weeks ago when three goats were found dead, and another eight still alive after being squashed into a small vehicle with six occupants.
