Covid social relief payments for July

Sassa announced 25 to 30 July 2024 as the dates for the payments of the COVID-19 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant for approved recipients.

The agency has encouraged people to view their status on the SRD website for the exact date payment will be reflected in their banks.

The SRD Grant is meant for South African citizens, refugees, asylum seekers, and special permit holders aged 18 to 60 years, who have insufficient means, do not receive social grants, are not contributing to or eligible for UIF payment, and have no financial support from any other source.
