Uncollected garden waste litters Empangeni suburbs

Availability of trucks in the uMhlathuze Municipality's waste removal fleet cited as a major challenge

For almost a month, debris from pruned trees and bushes along Empangeni’s Paul Avenue remains uncollected.

According to City of uMhlathuze Ward 23 Councillor Andre de Lange, the delay comes amid ongoing issues relating to the availability of trucks in the municipality’s waste removal fleet.
