Daylight robbery under ‘cop supervision’

An Empangeni cop is in hot water and an eNseleni community is R80 000 short after the electrician they hired to buy a new transformer was last weekend arrested for theft of Eskom property in KwaMbonambi.

It is believed the police officer was on hand to protect the electrician from community members while he removed the transformer.
