More than 200 girl guides and guiders rolled up their sleeves to clean-up Alkantstrand

The beach area at Alkantstrand enjoyed a special clean up on Saturday thanks to two dedicated, youth-based groups that put their energy into improving the state of the environment.

Around 190 girl guides and 20 guiders from various local units responded to the appeal from the ‘Save a Fishie’ organisation, which is currently on a nationwide clean up.
