The countdown is on to the largest prayer and worship gathering in KZN as 60 000 people are expected to descend on Moses Mabhida Stadium on 15 June at 12 noon.
The ‘Ignite The Fire’ gospel campaign aims to unite believers to seek God to revive the church, ignite hearts, activate believers to do God’s will and impact communities and cities.
The one-day event is a call for churches to come together in repentance to pray for the country and state of the nation, including the concerning economic situation, crime rate, political climate and corruption.
The event will be graced by powerful men and women of God, including evangelists Thurston Meyer and Tamryn Klintworth, Apostle Ronnie Naidoo and Ps Aaron Munsamy, as well as well-known artists Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo.
The vision to bring churches together in a stadium is based on the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14, ‘If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land’.
“Our country and province need healing, hence the gathering of God’s people on 15 June at Moses Mabhida Stadium,” said visionary, Apostle Ronnie Naidoo.
“We encourage believers to come along and stand with us for this beautiful country.
“We call on Christians to pray for the sake of this nation. We have violence and various scourges in our province and country.
“Together with Evangelist Thurston Meyer, we believe in a city transformation through the igniting and empowering of the believers for the betterment of our nation,” said Naidoo.
It is a call to pray for revival to uphold our nation and repent on behalf of South Africa so God can heal the land. It is believed this impactful life-changing event will equip and empower believers, resulting in positive transformation in cities throughout the province.
