Pensioner dies in house fire on Election Day

An asthmatic pensioner died while trying to extinguish a fire in his home in Matholeni reserve on Wednesday.

It is reported that Wilson Mthethwa (68), who lives in the reserve under Mthethwa Tribal Authority, died from smoke inhalation.
