Matambu’s family and friends will fill the docks as proceedings get under way.

The well-known Sodwana Bay skipper went missing after taking Visser on a charter boat trip on Saturday, 17 March.

After messaging his partner at about 11.30am that day, he has not been seen or heard from since.

A massive manhunt involving the Hawks and Interpol was launched after word got out that Ferdie Visser, the man who chartered the vessel Magnum Too, had made his way across the border into Mozambique.

He was apprehended by Mozambican authorities a week after the disappearance, was extradited to South Africa and has been in custody since.
