WATCH: Truck, bakkie collide on N2

The Shikshela area between Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe is the scene of a serious accident after a Department of Social Development bakkie and truck collided this morning (Wednesday), partially obstructing the roadway.

The crash occurred shortly before 10am.

According to the bakkie driver, he was travelling south and the truck was travelling north.

He said the truck was heading straight for him and he swerved to avoid hitting the truck, colliding with another vehicle.

Motorists are advised to approach the vicinity with caution.
