Zululanders, be part of positive change for safer roads by reporting potholes in your area
Potholes here, potholes there, potholes everywhere!
‘The Hole Truth’ pothole drive needs your participation.
This exciting community initiative highlights the worst potholes within the Zululand region – as well as those that have been repaired.
Since the implementation of the campaign, numerous roads throughout the City of uMhlathuze have had their potholes repaired by the municipality, with residents reaping the rewards of driving on safer roads.
On this week’s pothole offenders’ list are Watsonia Road, Fiddlewood Drive, Kelly Road, Abelia Road, Maroela Street and Coral Tree Road in Empangeni.
The recent heavy rains have either made once small potholes into giant craters or opened up new holes, so get involved.
Become a pothole hunter:
Send photos of potholes in your area to zulobs@zob.co.za and we’ll add them to the list.
Photos should be sent as separate jpeg attachments at least 500KB in size.
Include your full name, contact details and the physical address of the pothole in the main body of the email.
