Become an anti-litter ambassador

'Tell us where the dirt is' anti-litter campaign gains traction in uMhlathuze

The change is visible – many Zululanders are joining the ‘Tell us where the dirt is’ call-to-action anti-litter campaign.

With the culture of illegal dumping sites and littering a widespread problem throughout the region, environmentally conscious Zululanders are becoming part of the solution one ward at a time.

Since the campaign was launched in February, many wards across the City of uMhlathuze began forming action groups to focus on tackling litter problems in their respective areas.

Just last week, a huge drive was conducted in KwaDlangezwa and Ngwelezana.

This campaign is not just for residents to identify litter-strewn areas, but to encourage individuals, businesses and schools to take responsibility for their areas.

eSikhaleni residents sent these images taken along the main road in the hopes residents will come together to clean up.
