Empangeni SPCA is administering free rabies injections for all dogs and pets in the area today (Friday).
Rendering their services until 5pm opposite Central Park alongside Baines Road, the staff are ready to help as rabies shots are vital in combating the serious illness that usually results in death.
Annual rabies vaccinations are also a legal requirement on the part of all pet owners.
