Planning meeting for largest floating library’s visit to Richards Bay

Local pastors, leaders and community organisation representatives are urged to participate in meetings in Empangeni and Richards Bay

The world’s largest floating library, MV Logos Hope will be making its way to Richards Bay in mid-January, and the

Logos Hope Port Committee is inviting local pastors, leaders and community organisation representatives to attend two planning meetings scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 and 9 November.

The local committee chairperson, Pastor Timothy Harry said the MV Doulos‘ sister ship will open to the public at Small Craft Harbour for about five weeks, and has encouraged all stakeholders to participate in the meetings to assess the community’s needs in terms of training, development and outreach.

The first meeting will be on Wednesday, 8 November at Empangeni Baptist Church, 1 Cassia Road, Grantham Park, and the second meeting the following day in Richards Bay at Good Tidings Fellowship, Bugula Drive, Brackenham.
Both meetings will start at 10am.
