ZO Competition: It’s wafa wafa time, winner takes all

See how you can win two tickets to watch the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium this weekend

The two DStv premiership giants, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, will this Saturday contest the MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium as the first piece of silverware in the 2023/24 season. Pirates will be the home team in this final.

To add to that, the winner of this season’s tournament will get to lift a brand new MTN8 trophy, after MTN brand manager Nomsa Chabeli announced there would be a new-look cup this season.

This was confirmed in November last year, ahead of the MTN8 final between Pirates and AmaZulu, with Pirates keeping the old trophy when they defeated AmaZulu FC 1-0. The decision for a new trophy came after the MTN and Premier Soccer League decided to retire the old trophy.

MTN has been the tournament’s sponsor for the last 14 years. Pirates aims to defend their title.

They have won four titles in the tournament since the telecommunications company took over as sponsor in 2008. The ZO is giving away five double tickets to watch the final on Saturday.

To stand a chance to win a set of tickets, simply answer the following question: Which team has won the most MTN 8 trophies in the last 14 years?
