Former Mkhwanazi clan acting Inkosi dies

The former acting Inkosi of KwaDlangezwa, Mandla Mkhwanazi has passed away.

Mkhwanazi died on Thursday morning at a hospital in Richards Bay after a long undisclosed illness.

The news was confirmed by Induna Emmanuel Dube.

Mkhwanazi took over the role as acting Inkosi of the Mkhwanazi clan following the demise of his elder brother in 2010.

In January this year, he handed over the chieftaincy to his nephew, the reigning Inkosi Kwenzakwenkosi Tholinhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
