Get ready for Dolosfees

This year's Dolosfees has a stellar line-up

This year’s Dolosfees has a stellar line-up with many crowd favourites performing at Alkantstrand on 28, 29, and 30 September.

Thursday opening function

The festival kicks off with a special opening function on Thursday evening, 28 September.

Guests will be seated at tables of eight where they can enjoy the sounds of Corlea Botha, JD Mars, Monique Steyn, Ruhan du Toit, Angus and Shanay Rafferty.

Friday fun

On Friday and Saturday, the festival ground will be a hive of activity, with a full programme catering for all tastes.

Gates open at noon on Friday, 29 September, allowing festival-goers to browse the many stalls, support the food vendors and watch their children play on the inflatables.

The first round of the Zululand’s Got Talent competition will be held, as well as performances by Richards Bay Dance Company, and bit of ‘Straf vir ‘n Lag’ comedy.

Taking to the stage on Friday evening will be Francois van Coke, Bernice West, Ruhan du Toit, and Theuns van Zyl.

Saturday entertainment

Saturday, 30 September will be a busy day, with activities starting as early as 7am.

Zululand Multi Sports Club will host a fun run and walk, while youngsters can learn the basics of surfing at Alkantstrand.

Don’t miss the action-packed skateboarding competition at Alkantstrand skate park.

The Miss Dolosfees beauty pageant will also be held on Saturday morning.

St Catherine’s marimba band and Richards Bay Dance Academy will perform during the day, and there will be another round of ‘Straf vir ‘n Lag’ comedy.

Be sure to support the finals of Zululand’s Got Talent, as well as artists Johnny, Jacques Not Jack.

Saturday night will see the likes of Snotkop, Ricus Nel, Eloff, Andriëtte Norman, and Tino on stage.

Tickets for the Dolosfees are available at iTickets.co.za, Sugar & Spice, and Glamour Girls Arboretum.

If you buy your tickets before 28 September, it will only cost R280 per adult and R100 per child (six to 12 years). Children under six get in free.
