Walk to boost Bay Cansa funds

The countdown for this year’s Cansa Active Boardwalkathon has begun and community members can complete their online pre-registrations as soon as possible to secure a goodie bag.

Set for 29 July at Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Cente, registration takes place between 7am and 8.30am with the walk commencing at 9am.

There are only 300 goodie bags available for the online pre-registrations, so it’s first come, first served.

This fundraiser is in support of Cansa Richards Bay and all entry fees raised are handed over to the organisation to support their cancer awareness programmes and projects.

Participants and teams are also encouraged to showcase their creativity with themed outfits.

There are 2km, 4km and 8km routes, and entry fees are from R20 to R50.
