WATCH: Police investigate John Ross ‘child driver’

The City of uMhlathuze traffic department is investigating an incident whereby a young boy was seen behind the wheel of a car on the John Ross highway.

In a video captured by another motorist, the child was filmed driving the car, obviously having difficulty seeing over the steering wheel, while an adult male can be seen in the passenger seat.

While it is unclear when the video was recorded, the incident is believed to have occurred recently, and has since been shared numerous times on various social media platforms.
