Mkhize said the missing woman had introduced herself as Jafta Oliphant and is estimated to be 16 years of age

KWAMSANE police are working with the Free State counterparts after a missing person, reportedly from Welkom, was found in the Mtubatuba township.

Police spokesperson Captain Sbusiso Mkhize said a statement with the missing woman’s photograph was distributed to various media houses and was posted on social network platforms, which yielded positive results.

“Edenburg SAPS in the Free State assisted to locate the mother and father of the female found by KwaMsane police.

“Both police stations are liaising on the procedures to be followed in ensuring she is reunited with her family as soon as possible,” said Mkhize.

Mkhize said the missing woman had introduced herself as Jafta Oliphant and is estimated to be 16 years of age.
