Body washes up on St Lucia beach

Mtubatuba police have opened an inquest docket after a body washed up on St Lucia’s Ingwe Beach on Tuesday morning.

Beach-goers came across the body at about 7.30am and alerted the authorities.

Police spokesperson Captain Sbusiso Mkhize confirmed that the body would be sent for a post-mortem to establish the official cause of death.
