uMhlathuze netball star in need of funding to play in England

Nomcebo has set her sights on becoming a professional netball player

Teenage netball sensation Nomcebo Ngobese (15), who plays for the uMhlathuze Eagles, was recently selected to showcase her skills at a tournament abroad.

With sights set on becoming a professional netball player, young Nomcebo needs assistance with funding to get to the UK for the upcoming competition.

“I’ve been playing netball for 10 years and would love to be a professional netball player one day,” said Nomcebo.

“Going to England would be an opportunity for me to improve my sporting skills on an international stage.

“When I come back from England, I’d love to encourage my peers to play netball, as it is a fantastic sport for young girls to get involved in,” she added.

For more information on how you can help Nomcebo get to England, contact her parents Thobile (mother) on 078 0495497 or Nduduzo (father) on 083 5739099.

Total cost of the trip amounts to R45 990, which her family cannot afford at this time, and appeals to all corporates, businesses and individuals who may be able to assist.
