Richards Bay charity fundraiser calls on community support

To raise funds for its year-round community drives, Richards Bay-based NPO Walk in Faith is hosting a Mother’s Day gift fundraiser.

Key rings make an ideal Mother’s Day gift at R10 each, while for an additional R5, it can be complete with a chocolate and gift bag.

Walk in Faith founder Merinda Ackerman said proceeds raised will support their initiatives which rely heavily on donations.

These include a daily nutrition programme for school children and food parcels for seniors.
