‘My exit is not abrupt’, says MW interim chief exec
Dr Simo Lushaba denies pending exit is due to security threats
While Mhlathuze Water (MW) has confirmed the resignation of interim chief executive (CE) Dr Simo Lushaba, who will vacate the position at the end of the month, the entity rejects claims his pending departure is owing to security threats.
MW board chairperson Thabi Shange, along with the outgoing interim chief executive, held a media briefing last week on the latest developments at the State-owned entity and to address allegations surrounding Dr Lushaba’s exit.
