Join the Richards Bay #DoGood movement on Good Deeds Day

An environmental programme will be held in Mzingazi

A two-day environmental programme is set to be held in Mzingazi this weekend.

Spearheaded by South African Good Deeds representative and Zululand philanthropist Mary Mlambo of Lungelo Youth Development, the programme will kick off with an environmental awareness stage play on Saturday at Current hall from 10am.

An environmental education session will also take place.

On Sunday, Zululanders are urged to take part in a clean-up campaign at Mahhashini area in Mzingazi from 10am.

The meeting point is Lungelo Youth Development at 8am.

The initiative is part of Good Deeds International Day which is a movement of people who are dedicated to doing good in their communities and beyond.

Since 2007, millions of people and thousands of organisations from more than 100 countries unite annually to volunteer and #DoGood.

The initiative supports global changemakers who desire to live in a better world and take impactful action by providing tools, inspiration, and a global network.
