New uniforms for Mvalo pupils

Twenty schoolchildren receive new school uniforms

Twenty schoolchildren are now walking tall after they received donations of full school uniforms.

This after donors visited Mvalo Secondary School in Okhukho area on Friday.

Representatives from Zululand Anthracite Colliery (ZAC) and Khulu Mine donated the uniforms as part of their social responsibility programme.

At the handover are Khulu Mine manager Musa Mazubane, recipient Owethu Shezi, ZAC mine manager Scorpion Masuku and school principal Dumisani Buthelezi

Pupils were identified by the school as deserving recipients after the principal had a fruitful meeting with social responsibility managers about the need for the programme.

“The school is delighted with the gesture and their commitment of further support,” said principal Dumisani Buthelezi.
