King Cetshwayo District SAPS Major General PS Ngubane on Wednesday led a Passover prayer service ahead of the Easter weekend, where they prayed for the safety of communities and police officers.
The event was supported by CPFs, local pastors and various stakeholders, who all joined forces to pray for the safety of members travelling and those staying at home this weekend.

“We have been charged with the task of making our communities safer.
“We have to ensure the safety of our people, we have young children who are mass killers and merciless, and are living in tough times.
“Inasmuch as we plan and meet to fight crime, we must continue and not grow weary as crime persists.
“We are grateful to our communities, religious leaders and residents who continue to pray for us,” he said.
