Women unite to pray in Empangeni
Local women are encouraged to unite in prayer at 3pm at the church situated at 8 Kerk Street
Women are invited to an afternoon of prayer during the Women’s World Day of Prayer event on Friday, 3 March at the NG Kerk in Empangeni.
The Women’s World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement of Christian women.
In more than 170 countries, they come together on the first Friday in March to join in prayer and action for peace and justice.
The theme of the worship service, ‘I have heard about your faith’, based on the letter to the Ephesians, is an invitation to active listening, which is the ground of our prayers.
Local women are encouraged to unite in prayer at 3pm at the church situated at 8 Kerk Street.
