Two murder accused schoolboys back in Mtuba court

It is alleged the stabbings were a result of suspected bullying

Two uMfolozi High School pupils who were arrested last year for a fatal stabbing are expected to plead at Mtubatuba Regional Court on Wednesday.

A 16-year-old minor and his co-accused, Bandile Simphiwe Dube (19) appeared in court on Friday.

The two accused face charges of murder and attempted murder following the fatal stabbing of Khumbulani

Mgabhi (18) and his 17-year-old friend who was hospitalised and discharged a few days after the incident.

Khumbulani succumbed to a stab wound in the neck on the day of the attack.

It is alleged the stabbings were a result of suspected bullying after one of the accused instructed the victims to polish his shoes, which was rejected.
