Colourful scenes at king’s coronation

King Misuzulu kaZwelithini received his certificate of recognition from national government

TODAY (Saturday) was a day to remember for many South Africans who witnessed the official government recognition of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini.

The ceremony took place among thousands of dignitaries, both local and international, at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Significantly, this type of ceremony was last held in 1971 by the then apartheid government.

The celebration was filled with dance and music from Amabutho, Omama and Zulu maidens.
