KwaMsane cops bust suspects for dagga possession

Suspects were nabbed on Friday at two separate stop and search operations

KWAMSANE SAPS arrested two suspects in separate incidents for being in possession of dagga.

Police spokesperson, Captain Sbusiso Mkhize said the suspects were nabbed on Friday at two separate stop and search operations conducted by the KwaMsane SAPS during their patrol duties along the N2 between Mfekayi and KwaMsane.

“The police officials stopped and searched a Toyota Quantum at KwaMsane T-junction along the N2. During the search of a motor vehicle, police found two parcels of dagga wrapped in plastic bags that belonged to an African male.

“While police continued with their duties, another vehicle, a Toyota Etios was spotted and searched at Mfekayi area along the N2. During the inspection, police found another two parcels of dagga inside the bag that belonged to an African male,” Mkhize said.

Both suspects, Mkhize added, were arrested for possession of dagga and appeared at the KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
