As a mark of respect for the 20 victims, most of whom were children, Dube-Ncube will also meet the bereaved families to provide social relief and join interfaith leaders in a special prayer for an end to road carnage.

The premier will be joined by Transport, Community Safety and Liaison MEC Sipho Hlomuka, and she will also participate in an intensified law enforcement operation that aims to ensure the consistent enforcement of traffic laws to improve road safety in the province.
