RICHARDS Bay business owners in Kabelkring, Alton have this morning (Monday) taken matters into their own hands and blocked the road to trucks.
This comes after months of heavy-duty trucks blocking roads in the industrial hub as they await entry into the Port of Richards Bay.

Many aggrieved business owners and their clients say they battle to gain entry into their premises, while others have to wipe coal dust off surfaces numerous times a day.
While the City of uMhlathuze traffic officials do enforce the N2/John Ross highway route for truckers, Alton roads are still affected as the trucks queue for diesel.
