International acts expected at Pure Soul Experience in Richards Bay
American artist Robert Owens will headline the event
THE intimacy of good music will be on display once again at the 11th annual Pure Soul Experience in Richards Bay next month.
To be held at Pelican Island, the three-day shindig will kick off on Friday, 28 October and finish on the Sunday.
This time around, the event will include a comedy night on the Friday, followed by a music concert on the Saturday and a family day on the Sunday.

As always, the experience will feature top notch international and national artists such as legendary spinner Vinny Da Vinci, Senior Oats and Rogue.
American artist Robert Owens will also made an appearance as headliner.
About Robert
In his own words, Robert Owens has been making house music since ‘before house had a name’.
He is one of the most distinctive, coveted and prolific voices in the genre.
He has an illustrious career that started in the late 80s in Chicago and has since produced some of the greatest tracks house music has witnessed.
He is responsible for era-defining classics such as ‘Tears‘ alongside Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie, ‘Bring down the Walls’ with Larry Heard as part of Fingers Inc.
Robert has created seminal records which you can comfortably bet will have a place on any house head’s all-time favourites list.
After setting the standard during house’s formative years, Robert has remained at the forefront of the genre, building an extensive discography of solo projects, as well as a catalogue of collaborations which reads like an electronic music hall of fame – Masters at Work, Jamie Jones, Soul Clap, Catz ’N Dogz – the list goes on.
