It’s Tea on the Terrace time again!

Tea on the Terrace is Dice’s biggest annual fundraiser, with proceeds going to cancer patients and ongoing Dice projects

THIS fabulous event, which started back in 2012, is finally back after a two-year Covid-19 hiatus, with all the glitz and glamour taking place at Umfolozi Resort’s Jabulani Dome on Saturday, 17 September.

This year’s Tea on the Terrace fundraiser will, once again, see hosts vying for the coveted Ubuntu Floating Trophy as they decorate their individual tables.

In the words of Tea on the Terrace patron, Regina Anthony: “There is a heartbeat reverberating throughout Zululand known as ‘ubuntu’. Simply stated, this is the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity.”

In addition to being the event’s patron, Anthony is not only the founder of the Zululand Observer and its community outreach arm, Dice (Do I Care Enough?).

Excitement is in the air ahead of the event, with this year’s main sponsor, Umfolozi Resort’s Jabulani Dome, playing host for the day.

Guests get the chance to choose a theme for their table, with décor and outfits to match.

Tea on the Terrace is Dice’s biggest annual fundraiser, with proceeds going to cancer patients and ongoing Dice projects.

Tickets cost R1 000 for a table of 10 people.
