Dr Mouton did her undergraduate medical studies in Stellenbosch, interned at the Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital, and did three years of general surgery before spending time at Wits University and completing her Masters of Medicine in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery there. Now, in a recent move to a private practice at Melomed Private Hospital, Dr Mouton finds herself settling down in Zululand.
