Life Empangeni Private Hospital welcomes Jithen Seeparsad as its new Hospital Manager.
Jithen officially took over the reins on 1 July. Formerly from Pietermaritzburg, Jithen is a qualified chartered accountant with a strong background in finance and vast project management experience, as well as strategic insight into hospital operations.
Jithen has been in Life Healthcare for approximately seven years. He joined Life Healthcare in 2016 as the Finance and Administration Manager of Life The Crompton Hospital and was promoted shortly thereafter to Life Westville Hospital before taking on the role of the Regional Financial Controller of the Coast East Region of Life Healthcare in 2022.
Life Empangeni Private Hospital celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022 and won the category Best Hospital in the 2022/23 Best of Zululand Readers’ Choice Awards.
The facility has achieved multiple accomplishments and performed revolutionary procedures, including a unilateral biportal endoscopy (UBE) spinal surgery, which was a first for KwaZulu-Natal.
