Best of Zululand win a big surprise for Schutte’s Meat

Schutte’s Meat clinches Best Butchery category in annual Readers’ Choice Awards

SCHUTTE’S Meat is celebrating a victory after winning the Best Butchery category in the Best of Zululand Readers’ Choice Awards. This is the first time in the history of the competition that a small business has won this prestigious award, instead of a regional chain store.

“We were pleasantly surprised and very humbled when we heard the news,” said Riana Schutte, owner of Schutte’s Meat. She added that this Best of Zululand win is a wonderful acknowledgement of the reputation they have earned since starting the business three years ago.

“We are grateful that customers voted for us and that they have noticed the effort and commitment we put into our products. We started three years ago from a very difficult position and kept on going every day,” she said, adding that their hard work has paid off fruitfully.

Today, Schutte’s Meat boasts a large clientele across the north of Zululand, who all look forward to receiving their hand-delivered orders at their front doors.

This has been Schutte Meat’s recipe for success: supplying only the best in quality of meat in a variety of products and cuts – and delivering customised orders to their clients’ doorsteps! (Free delivery in Richards Bay, Empangeni, KwaMbonambi, Mtunzini and Mtubatuba).

She thanked everyone who voted for Schutte’s Meat.

“It is a privilege and a big honour! Thanks to the Lord for His grace and blessings, without which this would not have been possible. We look forward to be of service to an even wider customer base in the years to come.”
