Goscor has a new home in Zululand

The new Richards Bay branch is a co-location of several Goscor Group companies, including Goscor Earthmoving Equipment, Goscor Access Solutions, Goscor Cleaning Equipment, Goscor Compressed Air Systems and Goscor Lift Truck Company

Industrial and construction equipment specialists, Goscor Group, officially opened their new branch in Richards Bay.

Goscor Access Solutions, who are well-established in the region, have been servicing the Umhlatuze Municipality for a number of years, providing mobile elevating work platforms and equipment to the business community.

As with several other Goscor branches nationally, the new Richards Bay branch is a co-location of several Goscor Group companies, including Goscor Earthmoving Equipment, Goscor Access Solutions, Goscor Cleaning Equipment, Goscor Compressed Air Systems and Goscor Lift Truck Company.

The co-location model, explains Goscor Lift Truck Company’s KZN Director Michael Keats, allows Goscor Group companies to operate under one roof, enabling them to exploit synergies that ultimately allow for a better customer experience.

The decision behind this establishment was influenced by continued business growth over the past few years and the subsequent need for a larger and modern facility to better service the growing customer base. One of the key considerations when establishing this branch was the need for a suitable facility that could house the various sister companies in the BUD Group.

Servicing the Zululand area, the 2 200 m² branch is strategically located, with good visibility from the main road. The location affords quick and easy access for clients in the Zululand area. The new facility complies with the highest of safety standards, with ample space to offer training to employees and customers.

The broad range of products and solutions available enables the branch the capacity to address any industrial and earthmoving equipment needs, whilst offering the best possible services, in the Zululand area.

“We are excited about the opportunities that this expansion will bring and look forward to building new relationships and strengthening existing ones in the region,” states Grant Fouche, Goscor Access Solutions Branch Manager.

“We believe that this move will help us better serve the needs of our customers and contribute to the growth and development of the local economy,” concludes Fouche.

Umhlatuze Ward 2 Councillor, Christo Botha, officially opened the Goscor branch at a ribbon cutting ceremony held at their premises in Alton.
